Over the past 20 years, I've had the privilege to work with Canada's political leaders, help drive provincial economic development strategies, work with our national medical leadership and serve as a Deputy Minister and as CEO within our health systems. I've served on several national boards including CADTH, Mental Health Commission of Canada and Canada Health Infoway. While serving as a Deputy Minister, I was co-lead Deputy Minister for the Health Care Innovation Working Group to which I reported directly to the Premiers of Canada. While in this role, I was charged with the implementation of way in which Canadian provinces procure brand drugs through group-based buying techniques.

Since leaving government, I have been providing corporate and strategic services to global leaders in the pharmaceutical sector. Navigating the regulatory drug system in Canada is extremely complex. Adding further complication is the ever-changing political layer that intersects with our medical system.
